Service Description

Learn and create your own ceramic holiday tree figurines, ornaments, and trinket dishes in this 4-class workshop! Students will explore hand-building techniques, focusing on slab construction to bring their festive creations to life. A variety of surface decoration methods will be demonstrated, including slip trailing, underglaze application, texturing, and adding sculptural elements—allowing for personalized detail, design, and color. On the final day, students will glaze their holiday-themed pieces, ready to be fired and enjoyed for seasons to come! This course includes clay, use of studio tools and 2 Open Studio passes, giving students extra time outside of class time to practice! No experience is needed, just a willingness to get your hands dirty and have a festive good time!
