Service Description
Ready to take your surface designs to the next level? If you’re comfortable with basic glaze application and want to explore new surface techniques, this class is for you! Learn fun and creative ways to add marks, texture, and color to your ceramic pieces. We’ll experiment with sgraffito, carved low-relief designs, and underglaze painting and transfers to help you discover your own decorative style. This course includes clay and materials, access to studio tools, and 5 Open Studio passes, giving you extra time outside of class to practice and play. Just show up ready to learn and have fun!

Cancellation Policy
Students who wish to withdraw must do so within two weeks of the class start date to receive a full refund. To withdraw, please email brittanydias@riclayspace.com. Classes include non-transferable Open Studio passes that must be used within the session. Unused passes expire at the end of the session. Exceptions may be made at the studio owner’s discretion. By enrolling, students agree to follow all studio policies—respecting one another, caring for the space, and contributing positively to our ceramic community. RI Clay Space provides adult ceramics classes, and all students must be 18 years or older to enroll. Thank you for your support—we look forward to creating with you!
