Cups, Mugs, Bottles, and Vases

Service Description

Create functional ceramics works while learning the basic skills of hand building. Students will create functional works such as cups, mugs, bottles, and vases. In this class we will show you how to turn slabs of clay into water tight vessels with a focus on strong attachments. Once your vessels are complete surfaces can then be adorned with carving, underglazes, and glazes to finish! This course includes clay, use of studio tools, and 5 Open Studio passes, giving students extra time outside of class time to practice!
