Beginner Wheel Throwing
No experience needed! 6 weeks Saturdays 10am - 1pm
Service Description
Ready to get muddy and learn the fun-damentals of wheel throwing? This course teaches students the basics of wheel throwing, from centering to forming simple shapes, to trimming and making handles. On the last day of the session, students will learn how to glaze, finishing their works. This class is designed for beginners with no or very little experience. If you have taken this class before, you are welcome to take it again. You can take this class more than once. Repeating this class will help further establish your wheel-throwing skills. This course includes up to 25 lbs. of clay, use of studio tools and 5 Open Studio passes, giving students extra time outside of class time to practice! Just show up ready for fun learning!

Cancellation Policy
Students who wish to withdraw must do so within two weeks of the class start date to receive a full refund. To withdraw, please email brittanydias@riclayspace.com. Classes include non-transferable Open Studio passes that must be used within the session. Unused passes expire at the end of the session. Exceptions may be made at the studio owner’s discretion. By enrolling, students agree to follow all studio policies—respecting one another, caring for the space, and contributing positively to our ceramic community. RI Clay Space provides adult ceramics classes, and all students must be 18 years or older to enroll. Thank you for your support—we look forward to creating with you!
